What a fantastic site this is.

I am an empty nester with two grown children. My daughter has a math degree and son is a soldier in the US Army. I have three grand kids. The picture is of my son and grandson. This was taken during his graduation from boot camp and my grandson was his number 1 fan! He shadowed him the whole trip. The picture shows my son being copied in parade rest. My daughter is married to a wonderful man.

I am a healthcare worker in a senior assisted living and nursing home. Someday I will publish a hub on this topic. I am still learning in this field but there are a miriad of topics to discuss. I am gaining anecdotes and perspectives as well as some stong opinions on caring for the elderly.Things I see everyday can be heartbreaking, heartwarming and yes  even a bit gory, if I may use that term. I do a lot of thinking about and observing life from their point of view.
